Since integrating this virtual navigation service into Google Maps in 2007, the Mountain View company has been mapping the entire world by storing a history of images captured by its cars.
More than 15 years of archives can be consulted from your web browser, for example, the evolution of a district and the effects of time on it, between businesses or renovations. Accessing this feature is very easy. Here’s how.
- Open Google Maps in your web browser
- Enter the address in the search bar
- Click the circular arrow icon in the “Photos” section
- Select “See more dates”.
- Scroll through photos by date
