The first edition in mountain bike Enduro World Cup history kicked off with two rounds in Australia. During the first weekend in Maidina, Tasmania, Martin Maes finished 14th. A week later in the Derby he reached fifth place in the second heat. Ardennais said he was “happy with this fifth place” on social networks. He commented, “It was a tough and demanding day, I gave everything.” In the overall World Cup standings, Mace is currently in twelfth place.
