In a race marred by numerous crashes, a safety car and a red flag, Lando Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri managed to climb from 13th and 16th on the grid at the start, to Double termination at points to the Woking team.
A performance McLaren really needs after the first two races of 2023 without any top 10 finishes.

with twelve points on the Australian tour, McLaren is now fifth in the Constructors’ Championship. Norris is awaiting a planned upgrade package for the MCL60 at the next race in Azerbaijan in a month’s time, but he’s not getting too excited.
“I don’t want to get carried away because I wouldn’t say that Baku is the place where it will help us the most in all the low-speed corners, but at the same time I hope it is a step forward.”thought the English pilot.
